Please remember that you MUST send any and ALL deviations to Rising Sparks in a note in order to have it faved and made official. We quite regularly forget to fave our own work so please help us by making sure we have a record of your work.
Showing us in a chatroom does not count. If we are in a chatroom, that means we are NOT in the club account.




Due to confusion regarding the chatroom, we are closing it down. For those of you who did not know there was a chat, don’t worry. It was just a common room that has got a bit out of hand due to heaps of non-Rising-Sparks drama making its way inside.

In the event we have not made it clear enough, y’all are free to rp out Rising Sparks stories on your own (i.e. in your own chats or notes) but nothing will “count” until there is a deviation that makes that information available to the rest of the members. Pretty much, if you want to go make a room called rising-sparks and get all your friends to rp in there, go for it. It’s fine. We’ve said it soooo many times. The chats are meaningless. The deviations are what matter.

If y’all want a common place to meet, go to risingsparksrpg. Please note that this is ~yurlene’s personal room and what she says goes, no questions. It is for members only. All members who have been accepted are automatically allowed inside. If, by chance, you can’t get in, let yurlene know in a note.



We will be updating sometime this weekend. If you are waiting on your application to be accepted, we thank you for your patience. If you have already been accepted, this would be a good time to do part 3 of the application (the section where some sort of art or fic standing in/symbolizing/explaining your character's pre-rising sparks activities). Don't feel like it needs to be anything amazing, it just needs to inform people of your character's past. Feel free to combine more than one character's part 3 into one deviation if it's appropriate.



Soon we will add the marriage councilor to start handling the process of making bondmates officially and publicly recognized. We will also be adding the next newspaper pretty soon. And hopefully a new tabloid issue as well. Don't feel like you need to play catch up - newspapers aren't something mandatory and you don't have to react to every single one if you don't want to.



We've noticed there is not a great urge to put characters into stasis-lock. We understand that you probably don't feel like putting effort into a bio for some one you can't exactly play. However, we promise you there WILL be a use for them, and it will pay off in the end. Don't feel like you have to make one if you don't want to, though. But we would like it if we get at least a few more characters in stasis.



Remember, if you change your character’s bio, you must let us know so since the character you are presenting will no longer be the character we accepted.
